The Northern Virginia Congregation is hosting a Weekend in DC on November 9 & 10.  

On Saturday, November 9, we'll have church at our usual time and location - 

Hampton Inn Manassas: 7295 Williamson Blvd, Manassas, VA 20109

1:30pm - 3:00pm

There will be a potluck dinner following services.

On Saturday evening, everyone is invited to enjoy Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center - it is a whodunit improvisational comedy show and is the longest running play in the history of American theater. This is an all-ages show. However, due to the improvisational nature of the play some of the comedy can venture into the PG/PG-13 range depending on the performance (each show is unique.)

The show runs from 8pm - 10pm with one intermission and tickets will be $46.64/per person ($44 plus fees.)

Parking is $25 per vehicle at the Kennedy Center.

On Sunday, the plan is less organized. There is so much to see in DC that we figured people would probably want to split up and see the sights that are most important to them.
