The Garden Isle will host the Feast in Hawaii this year. Services will take place at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Kauai Community College. The facility is a modern, comfortable auditorium with plenty of seating.

Kauai will take you to a time in Hawaii when the pace was more tranquil. In addition there are many activities for all, making it a fun-filled, family-oriented Feast. Among these will be a traditional luau, a seniors luncheon, hospitality rooms and Bible studies for singles and teens, a river cruise and a family day on the beach.

Attractions can be contracted including dinner cruises, helicopter rides, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and surfing nearby. There are a small towns with a history to explore with plenty of shops and eateries.

In the south, you may view the Spouting Horn and in the east Opaekaa Falls. On the western side of the island is Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. You can cruise or kayak there on the beautiful Wahlua River.

The island is the fourth largest of the archipelago and is located 105 miles northwest of Oahu. Daily temperatures should be in the 80s.

Varied prices for housing for hotels and condos are available. Remember, not all housing has air conditioning since the climate is temperate, but there will likely be ceiling fans. If you need that amenity make sure it is available.

Please remember the daily attire at services is Hawaiian—for men nice Hawaiian shirts and dress slacks—no suits or ties are necessary. For ladies, it is summer or Hawaiian dresses or nice pantsuits.
