×The Feast of Tabernacles in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be spiritually rewarding and physically enjoyable for all who attend— young or old! It really is a very nice site for families to celebrate this festival together. Sitting on the Ohio River, Cincinnati has many interesting downtown neighborhoods as well as many nearby entertainment attractions and cultural sites. Jungle Jim’s international food market, where you can buy food from nearly every region in the world, is very near the location of services—along with a wide variety of good restaurants.
Just across the river is Newport, Kentucky, home to the well known Newport Aquarium. The Cincinnati Music Hall and the Aronoff Center regularly present concerts and operas. You can visit Findlay Market, a farmer’s market open all year ‘round, and Mount Adams, a small community with lots of local restaurants and shops that sits atop a hill overlooking the city.
On the weekend, it may be possible to attend a Cincinnati Bengals game or the Kings Island amusement park. As for culture, the art museum has an excellent collection and is free. The Cincinnati Museum Center is housed in a historical train station (still operational) and is also home to three museums—natural history, Cincinnati history and a children’s museum, in addition to the special exhibits. The Creation Museum is a 40-minute drive southwest in Petersburg, Kentucky. An hour’s drive north of Cincinnati is the National Air Force Museum in Dayton, which is home to the largest and most extensive collection of U.S. Air Force history in the country.
Many parks dot the Cincinnati area, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area. These include Devou Park (from which you can see the entire city), Eden Park (which overlooks the river), and Rowe Woods (which is forested and has many trails for walking). Find these and many more attractions at www.365cincinnati. com.
The Holiday Inn Eastgate will host the Feast and is offering rooms for $77 per night, including a full breakfast for two people. A number of restaurants and a mall are within walking distance. The spacious hotel lobby provides a comfortable place where brethren gather to fellowship anytime throughout the Feast. You are encouraged to stay there if your budget allows because the Holiday Inn offers the meeting space for an exceptional bargain to the Church. No other discounted housing is being offered, so if you need other options, you must do your own search.
