A United Church of God Feast of Tabernacles site
Once again we'll celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles in the peaceful sea-town of Sabaudia, which is located a 90-minute drive south of Rome. Transportation directly to and from the Da Vinci International FCO Airport (Fiumicino, Rome) shall be provided on any day before and after the Feast. Any extra hotel days immediately before or after the Feast will be charged with the Feast rate.
Our Feast hotel is offering very low full-board inclusive prices. To help you budget, you can know the prices by submitting your preliminary application to our website www.feastinitaly.org. Your Feast bookings will be secured only when/if you decide to send your Feast deposit through our website.
Church services will be held at the hotel meeting hall, provided alternately in English and Italian with simultaneous translation. Headphones will be provided on site. English is spoken and understood by a good number of Italian brethren, and they are looking forward to meeting you and fellowship with you.
Optional tours to famous historical sites—like classic Rome, the Colosseum, Imperial Forums and other places like the Vatican, the ancient ruins of Pompeii, including a new winery and Italian wine tasting experience—will take place during the inner six days of the Feast of Tabernacles without interfering with church services. In addition, a very educational pre-Feast four-day tour in Tuscany is offered to brethren who can celebrate Atonement with us in Sabaudia (more information upon request.)
If you wish to serve at the Feast in Italy, please remember to specify it on the “Talents” page of your Feast booking form on our website. Choir singers and piano players are most welcome. If you can direct an English language choir, or if you can either sing or play the piano or any other musical instrument for special music, or if you have any other artistic talent that may entertain the brethren at the talent show, your talent will be most welcome. Your involvement in making the Feast a greater success to God’s glory will be welcome with gratitude.
The hotel staff can speak English, and its restaurant can host a very large group of brethren so that we can enjoy our meals all together. With regard to food, the Italian cuisine is one of the richest, most delicious and exquisite in the world. The chefs know the distinction of clean and unclean foods, and the restaurant staff is looking forward to welcoming and serving us diligently.
We hope that you will celebrate God’s Holy Days with us in Italy this year. Your Italian brethren are looking very much forward to welcome you and fellowship with you in Jesus Christ.
