ACCOMMODATION AND MEAL PACKAGE INFORMATION  

A – OVERVIEW

During the Feast, we will have exclusive use of the main hall and business center meeting rooms on the first floor of the Strand Hotel Zandvoort, as well as use of the large restaurant in the hotel, which overlooks the North Sea.

For the 9-day stay, brethren can choose between a hotel room at the Strand Hotel or a cottage adjacent to the hotel, perfect for larger families or groups of people who desire more space or the use of a kitchenette. The cottages are within walking distance from the Strand Hotel Zandvoort where services will be held. Both the hotel rooms and the cottages give their occupants also access to a sub-tropical pool at no extra charge.

 

B – ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICING

Below is a summary of all the housing options and their associated pricing. Please note that all accommodation prices include check-in at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 2nd, through check-out at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 11th.  No post-Feast housing packages are being offered. Further, due to contract terms, we cannot offer pricing for fewer than the 9 days during the Feast.

C – STRAND HOTEL ZANDVOORT

All hotel rooms have ocean view. The rooms have heating, and include in-room Wi-Fi and daily room service, as well as a mini-bar, telephone, and television with national and international channels.  All rooms have one shower and one separate toilet room. Fresh towels will be provided every day and fresh sheets every three days. Hair dryers are provided in the rooms. Handicapped housing is available. Breakfast is included.

Single Hotel Room: Ocean View (€866 per room)
Size: 247 square feet, 23 Square meters. Capacity: 1 person. One room, 1 king-sized

Regular Double Room: Ocean View (€983 per room)
Size: 247 square feet, 23 Square meters. Capacity: 2 people. One room, 1 king-sized bed.

Triple Hotel Room: Ocean View (€1388 per room)
Size: 323 square feet, 30 square meters, Capacity: 3 people. One room, 1 king-sized bed plus 1 single bed.

Hotel Suite: Ocean View (€1550 per room)
Size: 323 square feet, 30 square meters, Capacity: 2 people. One room, 1 king-sized bed plus private Jacuzzi and Sauna.

 

D – CENTER PARCS COTTAGES (NON-OCEAN VIEW ONLY)

All cottages include an outside terrace, Wi-Fi and a television with national and international channels, but none include a telephone. All cottages have a fireplace in the sitting room. There is heating but no air-conditioning. Towels are provided upon arrival. No change of sheets will be done mid-way through the Feast. If you would like to have a towel change in the cottages, there is a €6,50 per person surcharge (including for children) which can be purchased at the front desk after arrival. The kitchenettes include a sink, small refrigerator, microwave oven and stove top, and are stocked with plates, cooking utensils, tableware, a table and chairs. Hair dryers are provided. Handicapped housing is available in some cottages. Breakfast is not included in the price per cottage

Difference between Comfort and Premium Cottages.
Premium cottages are more spacious and elegant and have a second TV in one bedroom, an extra shower and a dishwasher.

Difference between Premium and VIP Cottages.
VIP cottages have a private whirlpool, an extra TV, a private sauna, an extra shower, are more spacious, have faster streaming Wi-Fi, have fresh bread delivery in the morning and have a BBQ-set (coal) on the terrace.

2 bedroom COMFORT cottages (ZV1611): Non-Ocean View (€ 1079 per cottage)
Size: 51 square meters (549 square feet). Capacity: 4 people (or 2 adults, if you wish to be more comfortable).
One living room, one kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, separate toilet, one bedroom with 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined to make one large bed) and a terrace. The other bedroom has2 single beds.  The living room area has a sitting and dining area. There is a flat screen TV, fireplace and free Wi-Fi.

3-bedroom COMFORT cottages (ZV1612): Non-Ocean View (€1405 per cottage)
Size: 70 square meters (753 square feet). Capacity: 6 people (suitable for a couple with 4 children, or 2 teenagers, each having their own room, or 3 adults each with their own bedroom to be more comfortable).
One living room, one bedroom with 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined) and terrace.  The other 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds. The living room area has a sitting and dining area, one kitchenette, one bathroom with a shower, and a terrace.  There is a flat screen TV, fireplace and free Wi-Fi.

2-bedroom PREMIUM cottages (LZV11621): Non-Ocean View (€1302 per cottage)
Size: 51 square meters (549 square feet). Capacity: 4 people (or 2 adults only, to be more comfortable).
One living room, one kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, separate toilet, one bedroom with 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined). The other bedroom has 2 single beds. 3-bedroom PREMIUM cottages (ZV1622): Non-Ocean View (€1534 per cottage)
Size: Size: 70 square meters (753 square feet). Capacity: 6 people (suitable for a couple with 4 children, or 2 teenagers each having their own room or 3 adults each with their own bedroom only to be more comfortable). One living room, a bathroom with a shower, separate toilet, one bedroom with 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined), the other 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds. There is an extra shower in one of the bedrooms. One kitchenette and a terrace, dishwasher, flat screen TV’s, fireplace and free Wi-Fi.

4-bedroom PREMIUM cottages (ZV1623): Non-Ocean View (€2087 per cottage)
Size: 80 square meters (862 square feet). Capacity: 8 people (suitable for a couple with 6 children, or a couple with 3 teenagers each having their own room or 4 adults each with their own bedroom only to be more comfortable).
One living room, a bathroom with a shower, one bedroom with 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined to make a large bed), the other 3 bedrooms have 2 single beds. There is an extra shower in one of the bedrooms. One kitchenette and a terrace, dishwasher, 2 flat screen TV’s, fireplace and free Wi-Fi.

3-bedrooms VIP cottages (ZV1633): Non-Ocean View (€1852 per cottage)
Size: Size: 80 square meters (862 square feet). Capacity: 6 people (suitable for a couple with 4 children, or a couple with 2 teenagers each having their own room or 3 adults each with their own bedroom only to be more comfortable). One bedroom with 1 double bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined to make a large bed), the third bedroom has 2 single beds.
One living room, one kitchenette and a terrace with a BBQ set.  One bathroom with a shower, separate toilet. The living room area has a sitting and dining area. It has a dishwasher, 2 flat screen TV’s (extra in bedroom), fireplace and streaming Wi-Fi.  VIP cottages have their own private sauna and jacuzzi tub. Fresh bread is delivered every morning.

5-bedrooms VIP cottages (ZV1634): Non-Ocean View (€3294 per cottage)
Size: 140 square meters (1509 square feet). Capacity: 10 people (suitable for a couple with 8 children, or a couple with 4 teenagers each having their own room or 5 adults each with their own bedroom only to be more comfortable) One bedroom with 1 double bed. The other bedrooms have 2 single beds (the two single beds can be combined to make a large bed). One living room, one kitchenette and a terrace with BBQ set.  Two bathrooms one with sauna and jacuzzi tub, one with bath tub and toilet, and 1 extra shower in one of the  2 bedrooms. There is also a separate toilet. The living room area has a sitting and dining area. It has a dishwasher, 3 flat screen TV’s (extras are in the 2 of the bedrooms), fireplace and streaming Wi-Fi.  Fresh bread is delivered every morning. ***All cottages include Wi-Fi and a television with national and international channels, but no telephone. There is heating, but not air conditioning. Have a private terrace, Fire place in the sitting room.

 

E – MEAL PACKAGE INFORMATION AND COSTS

The obligatory lunch meal package includes 8 lunches from Saturday, October 3, through Saturday, October 10. Visitors are expected to purchase the lunch meal plan unless they have dietary restrictions and plan to cook for themselves during the Feast.

For all hotel guests,breakfast is served in the form of an upgraded “American-Style” buffet. It includes a hot beverage of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, milk, pastries, fruit juice selections, croissants, butter and fruit preserves, scrambled eggs, turkey or chicken sausage, yogurt, cheese and a selection of fresh fruit.
Non-hotel guests may purchase breakfast at the front desk.

All lunches include soup, one warm lunch entree (such as pasta, stew, etc.). Sandwiches and salad. Drinks include: Coffee/tea, milk and a choice of fresh Juice.

The dinner service on Saturday, October 3rd (if there are enough participants) will be a buffet and we anticipate at least one other buffet meal will be offered during the Feast (perhaps on the dance evening) and maybe as well as two take-away picnic lunches on the days that sightseeing trips are planned.  These will be confirmed at a later date.
Both dinner meals will include wine, beer, coffee/tea and a choice of soda or mineral water.

All breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be served at the hotel in the Rise & Shine Breakfast & Lunch Buffet Room.

The per person meal package and dinner costs are as follows:

• Adult Lunch package (12 years old and greater) in total 8 lunches €80
• Child Lunch package (4-12 years old) in total 8 lunches €64
• Infant Board (3 years old and under) FREE
• Adult Dinner (12 years old and greater) €35
• Child Dinner (4-12 years old) €22,50
• Infant Dinner (3 years old and under) FREE

Please note that we cannot refund any breakfasts, lunches or dinners when you choose instead to eat in one of the local restaurants.

 

F – POST–FEAST HOUSING

If you would like to stay at the resort after the Feast, you may contact the hotel directly for pricing and availability. We are not organizing any special group pricing for after the Feast stays.

Free outdoor parking is available in the Parc.  This is for Cottage residents as well as for hotel guests.  Parking in front of hotel is available for an additional fee of € 70 for the whole 9-day stay, if booked in advance.  Otherwise, parking at the hotel is €10 per day.

 

H – CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to change your Feast plans after making payment and you won’t be able to attend the Feast with us, you can receive a refund of your payment according to the following schedule:

Prior to March 31– Refund less a 30 Euro per person processing fee

Between March 31 and June 1 —– 75% refund of payment amount

Between June 1 and July 1 —– 50% refund of payment amount

Between July 1 and September 1 —– 25% refund of payment amount

After September 1 —No refund.
