Currently Masks NOT required at Glacier Country Feast Site

Public

Greetings again from Montana!

I just wanted to clarify that at this point we do NOT expect to require masks at the UCG Glacier Country Feast site.  There are currently no state mask mandates in effect. Initial survey results indicate 80% of those attending do not plan to wear a mask to services.

Here is our current our plan regarding COVID precautions:

1. We ask that anyone with any symptoms of illness does NOT come to services or events. Also, if you believe you have been exposed and could be a carrier of the disease, we also ask you NOT come to services or events.  We ask you (and your family) to self quarantine and not take any chances of spreading any sickness. We do plan on webcasting the services for those who need to stay back in their rooms or rental units.

2. We will have a section in the main auditorium that will be designated as a mask only area. Anyone who sits in that area will be expected to wear a mask.   The majority (based on our initial survey results) of the sections will be for those NOT wearing masks.

3. We will also have a separate room available for those at higher risk and who desire to be more separated. We will make plans to have the services webcast to this room. (Base on initial survey results, the number requesting a separate room is low so we should be able to use the  Prayer Chapel which is located directly behind the main auditorium building.)

Regarding the Dining Hall

The Glacier Bible Camp staff has instituted many procedures to avoid spreading COVID. Although we can designate certain tables in the dining hall as masked areas, people  will need to unmask to eat. Hence we suggest someone who is at higher risk consider not taking meals in the dining hall or having someone bring their meals to their room.

We also ask you to pray and, if possible, fast, and ask God in His love and mercy to put His protection over us during the Feast and protect all his people from COVID and other contagious diseases.
