Glacier Country, Montana 2022 About Us
The Glacier Bible Camp offers a wide range of onsite accommodations. These accommodations make it possible to attend the feast in Montana very reasonably. Some find the camping and dorm options reminiscent of early Feasts held in Big Sandy, Texas, in the Piney woods or Booth City. See more information below. All reservations for housing at Glacier Bible Camp need to be made through the UCG Glacier Country Reservation and Housing Team. In the near future we will post where those reservations can be made.
On-site Meals
The Glacier Bible Camp dining hall will provide reasonably priced meals that anyone can register for whether staying on-site or off-site. Breakfast has two options – full breakfast for $7 or continental breakfast for $5. Lunch is $8, and dinners and brunches are $9. Children under 5 eat free. Children 5 through 10 are half price. [NOTE: This is a change from past years. This year 11 and 12 year olds will be charged for an adult meal.] An adult could have all their meals on-site for under $200 – from the opening night dinner to breakfast on the day after the Eighth Day/Last Great Day. The menu will be available online in early summer and individuals can determine which meals they’d like to eat onsite. Many have found the fellowship at the shared meals to be one of the highlights of the Montana Feast!
NOTE: Glacier Bible Camp also offers gluten-free meals for those who require a gluten-free diet.
Glacier Country Housing Information
Although many will be staying on-site, there are many off-site options to choose from when it comes to housing. There are many motels, cabins, camp grounds, resorts, bed & breakfasts, and vacation homes in the area. Members are free to find whatever housing best suits their needs. However, many have found that by staying onsite, although perhaps more rustic than many other sites, they have enjoyed the increased opportunities for fellowship.
We certainly do appreciate the number of families and individuals who do decide to camp or stay in the onsite accommodations. They make it possible to use the Tabernacle as our meeting hall for this Feast site.
On-site Camping options at Glacier Bible Camp include:
• Tent sites ($10/night)
• Tent site with electricity ($15/night)
• Camper site with water and electricity ($20/night)
• Full RV hookup site with water, power, and sewer hookup ($35/night)
On-site dorm or cabin options at Glacier Bible Camp include:
• Small 8-bed bunk houses for $25/night (sharing camp wash rooms) 6 available.
• Larger bunk houses are also available with options that sleep 6 to 16 people for $35 per night.
• Family dorm style rooms with one queen bed and 2 bunk beds for $45/night that accommodate a family of six. (Shared large, nice bathrooms on each floor – one for men, one for women). These rooms are similar to a motel room, minus the private bathroom – and designed for families. 50 rooms available
• Motel style rooms with 2 queen beds and private bathroom for $68/night with bedding. Due to limited camp staffing, bedding is not changed during the Feast. Towels will be changed only one time mid-Feast. 28 rooms available
There are three cabins that include private baths, and kitchens or kitchenettes. Prices range from $85 to $110 per night. Only 3 available. Please check with Dan Deininger regarding availability. These are often given to individuals or families with special needs.
Notes
• With the exception of Glacier View Lodge and the three cabins, these prices do not include bedding. Please plan to bring your own bedding and towels.
• Glacier Bible Camp has a no alcohol policy which we honor, so whether camping or staying in one of the dorms, you need to plan to have your drinks when at meals or socializing off site.
• Also, there are no taxes charged on these rooms.
• We are looking at an option to accept payments by credit or debit card. If we do, there will be an additional charge to accept payment via a card.
SHARED ROOMS: If you desire to share a room at the feast and need a roommate, please contact Dan Deininger either via email at dan_deininger@ucg.org or at 06-410-0162.
Other off-site housing
Due to the small number of people coming to the Glacier Country Feast site, and the large number of rooms available in this national vacation destination area, we do not attempt to negotiate special deals with specific nearby accommodations. You are free to find whatever housing you desire that works best for you and your family or group. There is a wide range of options available – from motels to resorts to vacation homes. We do encourage you to stay relatively near the site so you won’t have too far to travel to services. We suggest housing options from West Glacier (approximately 10 miles east of Glacier Bible Camp), then going west along Highway 2 and Montana Route 40 to Columbia Falls (7 miles) and on to Whitefish (16 miles).
Camp-use Fee
Anyone age 5 and above not staying in Glacier Bible Camp accommodations, or signing up for at least one meal a day, is charged $2.50 per person per day ($20 for the entire festival).
Opening Night Services & Early Reservations
Opening night services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Sunday evening, Oct. 9, 2022, at the Tabernacle Building on the Glacier Bible Camp campus.
