Your brethren in Sri Lanka warmly invite you to attend the Feast of Tabernacles with them at the Habarana Village by Cinnamon. Habarana is a small city in the Anuradhapura District in the North Central Province of the beautiful island of Sri Lanka known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.

Habarana Village is sprawled across 27 acres of lush, forested land bordering a stunning lake. The hotel’s cozy and comfortable chalets lie in clusters. The bungalow-style rooms are surrounded by greenery amid high rise trees that provide plenty of shade.

The sunset over the mountainous horizon beyond the lake at rear of the hotel is a beautiful and peaceful site in the evening. One may be inclined to take a boat ride on the lake or take a peaceful stroll around the resort and enjoy the quiet and breathtaking views that surround you. Occasionally you can take in the view of a herd of elephants beyond the lake. You and your family can bicycle on the narrow roads running through the neighboring village. The hotel grounds feature an outdoor swimming pool and facilities for cricket, tennis, volleyball and badminton.

Services: The hotel conference hall will also be the site for daily services which will be in English.

Dining: All brethren will be staying at the same venue and will have the unique and enjoyable opportunity of dining together at the “El Hena” Restaurant. Three buffet meals are included in daily room costs and feature local Sri Lankan dishes as well as excellent international cuisine.

Activities: Tours can be arranged for outside activities, which include hiking in the “Ritigala” nature reserve or riding an ox cart in a village track known as “Hiriwadunna.” For those who dare to be adventurous, The Minneriya National Park, Pidurangala Rock and The Sigiriya Fortress are less than a 40-minute drive from the hotel.

Family day is a traditional favorite at the Feast in Sri Lanka. A special afternoon full of fun team events is followed by another afternoon of cricket, in which the whole family can participate and enjoy. The variety show as well as a sing-along and family dance are sure to be a highlight as the Sri Lankan brethren are very talented and musical.

Travel: Habarana Village is a 5 ½ to 6-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport or from the city of Colombo (Transportation from the airport or from Colombo hotels to the Feast site can be arranged upon request).
