Ocean City, Maryland, situated along a nine-mile stretch of Atlantic Ocean beachfront, will once again be the northeast’s festival location in 2024.  This family-oriented oceanfront resort town, located on the Delmarva Peninsula, has been a favorite vacation destination for fami­lies from the mid-Atlantic area for over a century. Feast services will be held in the Bayfront Ballroom at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

Ocean City abounds in dining and shopping opportunities, as well as family attractions and areas of natural beauty.  Nearby is the Ocean City Boardwalk, home to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Muse­um, amusement rides, a fishing pier and several restaurants.  At nearby Assateague Island National Seashore, wild horses and other wildlife can be seen up close, roaming free on the beach, throughout the campgrounds and along the nature trails of this undeveloped barrier island.  A short drive from Ocean City is the historic town of Berlin, home to sev­eral specialty stores, antique shops and restaurants.  A popular ice-skating rink is located at the nearby Carousel Resort.  With several golf courses, fish­ing piers and outlet malls nearby, Ocean City has something for everyone

Typical Ocean City weather in mid-October usually brings daytime high temper­atures in the mid-60s, with night­time lows in the mid-50s.  Travelers on American Airlines can fly into Salis­bury-Ocean City Regional Airport (SBY), just over a half hour away.  For travelers on other airlines, there are nearby inter­national airports, located in Baltimore, Maryland (BWI); Washington D.C. (DCA); Phila­delphia, Pennsylvania (PHL) and Norfolk, Virginia (ORF), all of which are within a three-hour drive.
