2017 Feast of Tabernacles
Kalukanya, Zambia
The Kalukanya Feast site is about 1,000 kilometers northeast of Lusaka, Zambia. It is one of the three Feast Sites in Zambia.
The Feast is one of the most exciting festivals. Many people were very happy as they enjoyed food—which was plenty—and wonderful messages. On the first day of the Feast we had a service in the morning with 80 people in attendance.
Among the activities that took place was a family day with sports activities. There was a women’s day that was equally exciting as ladies exchanged gifts. The Feast had one incident where deacon Patrice Sinyenga was bitten by a snake. He was hospitalized but is now recovering well.
The Eighth Day had 78 people in attendance. We were enjoying ourselves so much we did not want the Feast to come to an end.
Finally, on behalf of the two congregations, Kalukanya and Isoka, we would like to thank those who helped fund this Feast, namely the home office and the brethren who contributed financial support. May God bless the Colorado and the California brethren for their kindness and love.
