Once again, the atmosphere at the Feast was joyous and uplifting. The sermons were presented in either German or English, with simultaneous translation. The children’s choir, festival choir and other special music added to the festive atmosphere.

Activities included a welcome evening, a women’s breakfast, Bible discussion rounds, children’s Bible studies, teen studies, a day excursion to Breisach am Rhein where participants visited Europe’s largest wine cellar, a go-carting youth activity, volleyball, karaoke, a well-loved formal dance evening, a piano concert and our final farewell evening.

The piano concert this year was a real highlight and an opportunity for the Church to thank our host town by inviting members of the public to the experience. The audience was very appreciative of the incredible talent of our “home-grown” pianists!

The Feast was over too soon but the encouragement and joyfulness felt by all who were at Schluchsee this year will last for a long time to come.
