The “Family Day” encompassed two different days. One afternoon the local skating rink was reserved and half of the rink was for bumper cars on ice. Then participants drove over to the newly renovated bowling alley, which now has a nice restaurant. On Saturday we continued with “family night” by sponsoring a nice buffet meal and a variety show, concluding with a family dance that involved all ages and generations.

The teen activity was pizza at the Steamboat Grand Hotel after services and then a hike up to Fish Creek Falls for a scenic view. The traditional stuffed animals for children was a hit. All the messages and Bible studies were inspirational, as was the special music and ensemble. Local restaurants provided a variety of prices and styles, and the Steamboat Grand offered a free shuttle into town.

Steamboat Springs provided a millennial setting and the attendees let their light shine as an example.
