2020 Feast of Tabernacles
Glacier Country, Montana
God blessed the Feast of Tabernacles in Glacier Country, Montana, with some of the best fall weather anyone could remember. Even the locals talked about how wonderful it was. Cool mountain mornings with temperatures in the 50s and highs in the upper 70s made for perfect days to fellowship and explore.
Because of travel changes, Glacier Country had 25 elders; this included eight full-time pastors and three current Council members. With the sheer number of speakers we were blessed to have split sermon messages given for each service. We were reminded to hold fast to God’s peace, His Word, His laws and His plan of salvation for all of mankind.
Glacier Country, Montana, is at the base of Glacier National Park where there are some of the most unique mountain ranges in the world. Brethren hiked along trails, visited waterfalls and viewed wildlife. Due to the wonderfully warm weather, the Going-to-the-Sun-Road was still open and brethren were offered spectacular views going through the park and over the Continental Divide.
The setting of the Glacier Bible Camp offered a wonderful park for family day and we had an additional climbing wall brought in along with two extreme air jumpers. Since we were not able to have a family dance, brethren instead shared their talents at a family variety show. While this has been a most unusual year, with God’s blessing and protection, His people were able to keep the Feast of Tabernacles and rejoice in Glacier Country, Montana.
