Cincinnati Pastor Change
The Cincinnati East congregations recently thanked Gary Antion for serving as interim pastor for the past few months. Mr. Antion and his wife, Barbara, cheerfully “stood in the gap” for us until our new pastor was selected and could relocate to the area. Mr. and Mrs. Antion were given a restaurant gift card and a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of their love for the brethren and their efforts on our behalf.
The Antions will be staying in Cincinnati. Mr. Antion will continue to fulfill his administrative and teaching responsibilities at the Ambassador Bible Center. He also currently serves on the Council of Elders.
The Cincinnati East churches also welcomed our new pastor, Steve Myers and his wife, Kathe, with a cake reception after services. The Myers moved here from Minnesota, where they served congregations in Austin and Mankato, Minnesota; LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to pastoring the Cincinnati East churches, Mr. Myers will continue to work as presenter on the Beyond Today television program. The Myers were given a book about Cincinnati and a gift card to Graeter’s Ice Cream Parlors so that they could enjoy a taste of the city’s famous dessert.
