Dayton Congregation Aids Tornado Victims
On May 27, the Dayton, Ohio area was hit with at least 13 tornadoes. Many neighborhoods were devastated and there was quite a bit of damage to Hara Arena—a venue used many years for the Feast of Tabernacles. Thankfully, no members were injured and only a couple sustained any physical damage to their property. Some were without water, phone, Internet and electricity for a few days. The Dayton congregation collected $1,563, many cases of water, food, toiletries, diapers and other items needed by our neighbors who have lost so much. We have been distributing supplies to neighborhood relief centers who are very grateful for the donated items. Thank you for your continued prayers for our area as clean up and relocating those who had their homes destroyed will be an ongoing process that will take months.
