Little Rock, Arkansas, Camping Weekend
The plan was to float the Buffalo River, America’s first national river.
The camping, church services, and fishing went as planned. All the brethren who attended had a great time fellowshipping. Several species of wildlife were spotted.
Church services were conducted Sabbath morning with a DVD. Sunday morning, everyone woke up anticipating the float down the scenic Buffalo. However, before the float began, a thunderstorm moved in. Despite the disappointment of not being able to float, the weekend was still a big success, as brethren improved their friendships while enjoying the beauty of nature. There are plans to make this an annual event.
