This annual event was canceled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, so this year proved an extra special celebration as everyone enjoyed each other’s company in person.

Home office staff and their families enjoyed the catered meal from a local Christian barbeque restaurant while fellowshipping inside the dining area of the home office and outside on the patio. Children enjoyed the water balloon toss and jumbo bubble wands on the hot summer day.

All of the employees present were entered into a raffle, and the children picked names out of a basket after lunch. Gift cards were handed out to the six employees who won the drawing.

The picnic concluded with ice cream bars for everyone while the children ran outside to finish their water balloon fight.

Many thanks go to the planning team and volunteers who helped with set-up, take-down and safely serving the food. Their hard work made this afternoon possible and provided an atmosphere in which employees could relax and spend time with each other as the summer draws to a close.
