This first annual rodeo was enjoyed by about 100 kids and 50 adults.

The activities included a petting zoo with baby goats, chicks, rabbits and newborn calves to bottle feed. Plus there was a bucking bronco for kids to ride, a BMX bike course, greased pig catching (or chasing), hay rides, lariat throwing, a 50-foot water slide and a variety of carnival games and face painting. There were also two incubators with chicks hatching. The kids enjoyed ice cream, popcorn, hot dogs, and numerous water balloon and egg throwing contests. God truly blessed this event. What more could you ask for?

Rex Sexton grew up in Illinois and graduated from Ambassador College in Big Sandy, TX in 1976. He began a career as a construction engineer in the Nuclear industry at Hanford, WA , and was hired full time in the ministry in 1982, and earned a Certified Financial Planner certification in 1994. He and his wife, Patricia, have served congregations in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. In addition to pastoring responsibilities, they have also taught at and directed youth summer camps for many years.
