In an outstanding effort to raise funds to send local teens to UYC summer camps this year, the Portland/Vancouver congregation hosted a garage sale May 15-18 (Thursday, Friday and Sunday). More than 30 individuals and families in the Church donated items to sell, and almost every teen came to the sale to help. Despite rain on the closing day, the garage sale was overwhelmingly blessed and raised over $2,500 for the local camp fund! The teens showed an exemplary attitude of service and hard work, even singing hymns in the rain to customers who braved the weather! Special thanks to all the brethren who donated time, items and especially prayer towards the success of this important fundraiser.
