We are pleased to announce that we have completed and published UCG’s hymnal in Portuguese. Although only 74 hymns were able to be translated, the hymn numbers match the numbers in the English and Spanish hymnals, making it easier for the brethren to turn to the correct hymn when it is announced from the podium in a mixed-language congregation, such as at the Feast. This is the result of many years of labor from Wanderson Esquerdo, a Portuguese-speaking member in Bolivia.

It is also encouraging to report that we have published two more booklets in Portuguese: Are We Living in the Time of the End? and You Can Understand Bible Prophecy. These events are very exciting new steps forward in the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the whole world, particularly to the Portuguese-speaking world. We thank God for all the tithes faithfully given by the brethren, which make it possible to preach the gospel in various languages, and we thank the continued support from the Council and the administration for us all to be able to do God’s work around the world.
