Prayer Request for Brethren in Haiti

Last Sabbath, Feb. 6, Deacon Joseph Jean set out in his van to transport 15 brethren to their homes after services. On the main street in Mirebalais, the van was attacked by demonstrators protesting President Jovenel Moïse’s government. They pelted the van with large rocks and stones, knocking out the windshield and all of the windows.

Miraculously, no one was injured other than minor cuts and bruises. Joseph was able to get everyone to their homes and make it back home with his van. This was his first direct encounter with the violence that has been rampant in Haiti since the civil war began two years ago. The brethren were shaken, but very grateful to God for His protection.

Please pray for continued protection, and for peace in Haiti as we continue to press onward with God’s work there.
