Troyer’s Hollow Campout Weekend
Nestled in the scenic hills of Amish Country near Charm, Ohio, Troyer’s Hollow in the Doughty Valley has a long tradition within the local community and the Church as a relaxing retreat.
The North Canton and Cambridge congregations sponsor the weekend, that includes camping and Sabbath services. We have the entire property for two days, and one side on Sunday. This year we are blessed to have reserved a weekend which does not conflict with either Father’s Day or Camp Cotubic.
Activities planned: Friday evening Bible study, Sabbath services, an afternoon potluck, young adult seminars, a nature walk, kettle popcorn over the fire, evening group music for those who wish to bring instruments, and many campfire discussions. This year’s theme for the young adult seminars is “How True Christians Relate to Authority—in the World and the Church.”
Fees to cover property usage:
Campers: $15 per camper / $20 per family per night
Non-campers: $5 per person / $10 per family per day
Nearby hotels are available for those who do not wish to camp. Alcohol is prohibited on the property.
Details will be posted on the North Canton website. If you wish to come, or just have questions, please contact Mary Miller (mary@crawfordmfg.com, 330-204-6972) or Amanda Stiver (anstiver@gmail.com).
