United Youth Corps Volunteers Announced
Ghana and Nigeria Camps
Serving at the youth camp in Ghana in August will be Dawn Deininger of Whitehall, Montana; Olivia Pettigrew of Charlotte, North Carolina; Zach Zimmerman of Louisville, Kentucky; and Kelly Whitley of Houston North, Texas.
Volunteers chosen to serve at the youth camp in Nigeria in August will be Cody and Bobbi Kitts from the Cincinnati East, Ohio, congregation; Rachel Luecke of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and Jamie Veale of Des Moines, Iowa.
Six Weeks in Jordan and Israel
Volunteers chosen to participate in the six-week service and dig project in Jordan and Israel from June 18 to Aug. 2 are Jessica Schultz of Charlotte, North Carolina; Elizabeth Cannon of West Palm Beach, Florida; Kristin Waldrup of Dallas, Texas; Melea Martin of Ruston, Louisiana; Patrick Shabi of Orlando, Florida; Josh Messerly of Portland, Oregon; John Nichols of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Garrett Wayne of Cincinnati North, Ohio.
10-Month Project in Jordan
Volunteers for the 10-month project in Amman, Jordan, teaching at the Amman Baccalaureate School and the YMWA school for the handicapped are Lewis and Lena VanAusdle of Akron, Ohio; Tina Banda of Lusaka, Zambia/Dallas, Texas; and Zach and Emily Smith of Cleveland, Ohio.
Applications are still open for the Kenya youth camp project in December. The early deadline for applications is July 1. Interested young adults can get fact sheets and application forms at www.ucg-youthcorps.org.
