Deep in the Tennessee woods at the Nacome Camp and Conference Center, campers and staff came together on May 29 for our 10th year. And what a year it was!

Just as campers arrived on Sunday, God blessed us with very enjoyable weather, bringing down the suffocating heat and humidity from highs in the 90s to highs in the low 80s and in the evening, lows in the 50s.

Campers enjoyed daily nature activities like creek walks, axe throwing and shelter building along with outdoor activities like archery, air riflery, swimming and canoeing. Team building activities like human foosball, high/low ropes and campus improvement provided lots of opportunities to make new friendships.

There was no doubt that God’s hand was in all that was accomplished throughout camp this year. His blessings of great weather along with no serious injuries were gratefully received and we give Him thanks for all He did for us. Staff were also amazing with like-mindedness and serving attitudes, especially the young adults and teens that joined us this year. Without the staff who serve, the camp program would not be possible.
