More than 500 brethren were blessed to keep God’s Feast of Tabernacles in Estes Park, Colorado.  As our Father in heaven commanded, His people rejoiced in fellowship, spiritual food and the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Herds of elk could be heard bugling throughout the Feast and all sorts of wildlife lent their beauty to the picture of what God’s Kingdom will be like in the future. Inspired words of instruction, encouragement and hope flowed out every day to God’s people. Voices were lifted in praise and worship to God, as brethren shared their talents and gifts in special music.

Brethren took part in all sorts of activities, such as our family day when the brethren went up to the 860-acre YMCA Camp of the Rockies. Surrounded by mountain vistas, the sprawling camp offered something for everyone: rock-wall climbing, roller-skating, basketball, volleyball, archery, swimming, mini-golf, outdoor games and some spectacular arts and crafts. The family day activities were topped off with a family dance in which more than 250 brethren kicked up their heels, visited and listened to music. There were multiple teen activities, a young adults’ hike and a seniors’ luncheon. We also held Bible studies for teens, young adults and all the brethren, in addition to a marriage seminar.

Most of the brethren took the opportunity to tour the Rocky Mountain National Park and go over Trail Ridge Road, known as the “Highway to The Sky.” It is the highest paved highway in the continental United States. We are so thankful for God’s blessing and the lifting of His people’s hearts. The warmth of fellowship and God’s love was abundantly evident.
