The ornate Wedgwood Suite of the St. George’s Hotel in the town of Llandudno, North Wales, was our Feast location. Around 210 members, from overseas and the British Isles, came together to hear the messages of the hope of Christ’s coming reign presented through the eight days.

Services were enhanced by special music from soloists and groups of singers, including a children’s choir which filled the stage during Friday’s service and a festival choir that performed two pieces on the afternoon of the Eighth Day.

Attendance figures varied from a low of 137 for the mid-Feast evening service, to a high of 191 recorded on Friday morning’s service.

As there are several within our church community unable to attend the Feast in person, Internet links using Zoom were provided for every service and Bible study. The Zoomers were able to fellowship before and after services. An average of around 30 connections were made to each service.

Informal get-togethers were organized for both the beginning and end of the Feast, providing opportunities for informal fellowship, quizzes and other activities.

A memorable highlight was the combined talent show and ceilidh (traditional dancing), which was slightly oversubscribed in numbers of enthusiastic attendees who ensured the dance floor was always full. The talent show highlighted the talent in the Church, from the youth to seasoned performers.

Activities away from the hotel included a young adults’ get-together for a chat over a pizza and a session for younger children in a soft play area. A group of 22 young people from 8 to 18 spent an enjoyable couple of hours socializing while bouldering and high rope climbing at a climbing center. Many ventured into the stunning Snowdonia National Park or visited attractions such as picturesque Betws-y-Coed, the city of Chester and the late thirteenth century Conwy Castle.
