As a pastor in attendance commented, the Midland, Ontario, Feast site continues to be the next best thing there is to an all-inclusive Feast site! The meeting place in Midland is a hotel that lends itself ideally to most attendees staying comfortably together in one location for the entire week. Included in the room rate is a hot breakfast served buffet-style each morning in a lovely eating area that is cheerful and well-lit. Most brethren availed themselves of this most important meal of the day. They used this an an opportunity to joyfully mix with one another each morning.

Church services provided delectable spiritual food which Midland attendees enjoyed daily as well. The opening night message from President Rick Shabi set the tone for the entire week. Sermonettes, split sermons, sermons and special music were well-prepared and delivered daily to an appreciative group who savored each serving. A highlight of the Feast was the ordination of a deaconess, an occasion most had not seen for a long time.

Something new this year was a Thanksgiving dinner buffet on the opening day of the Feast, Monday Oct. 10, which happened to be Canada’s Thanksgiving Day! A group of 102 brethren partook of an abundance of turkey along with all the trimmings usually associated with a tasty Thanksgiving turkey dinner.
