Southern British Columbia enjoyed a small but joyful fellowship this year for the Feast of Tabernacles in the peaceful mountainous community of Abbotsford. The many locally promoted fruit harvest events ongoing in the area may have helped that special millennial feeling grow in us as we gathered. But it was more likely the unity of the Spirit of God that provided the elation and joyfulness we felt, everyone knowing the very special meaning of the time for which we gathered.

As such, many took advantage of several planned fellowship opportunities to be together, such as a meet and greet, a games social, a family breakfast a historic tour, a bowling afternoon and to conclude the week, a farewell luncheon. Many made fellowship opportunities of their own, gathering for meals and other activities.

All in all, it seems the Feast in Abbotsford was successful as many expressed their gladness for having celebrated here. We believe many hopes were renewed for another year, keeping alive that eager anticipation of the day our Lord Jesus Christ will dwell among us and peace will reign on earth.
