With the theme “Race to Your Crown,” the Feast of Tabernacles this year was again held at the picturesque Hotel de Susana and Resort in Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines. It was a remarkable celebration of faith, worship and fellowship with 232 registered local brethren and overseas guests. This year’s Feast proved to be a spiritually uplifting and unifying experience.

From the very first day to the eighth, we were graced with daily messages that nurtured our spiritual well-being and deepened our understanding of God’s plan for humanity and enduring the race to our imperishable crown. These messages served as a guiding light, giving us hope and joy as we strengthened the bonds and recharged our relationships both with God and His people.

The Feast included a wide range of activities and forums. One of these was fellowship night, an evening of communal bonding, games and relationship strengthening. A marriage and parenting forum provided a platform for couples and parents to share experiences and wisdom. Tailored youth, children’s and seniors’ activities engaged attendees of all generations. A women’s enrichment meeting became a forum for women to uplift and empower one another. Men’s socials provided an opportunity for men to foster camaraderie. A young adult forum created a space for young adults to explore faith, life and personal growth. Youth dove deep into the scriptures in a Bible study designed to foster spiritual growth.

One of the highlights of the Feast was the festival show on the third day. Brethren from various congregations graced the stage, sharing their incredible talents through dance, song and cultural presentations. This captivating showcase celebrated the rich tapestry of culture and creativity within the community, leaving attendees inspired and entertained.

As the Feast progressed, we embraced the natural beauty of Bukidnon. Young adults embarked on an exhilarating trek through the Sabangan Mountain Trails of Malaybalay, Bukidnon, relishing refreshing river streams for swimming. Families also ventured to the awe-inspiring mountain ranges from the Communal Ranch in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, just 40 kilometers (about 25 miles) from the site, where they reveled in the majestic mountain views and created cherished memories together.

The Feast culminated with a simple Sabbath dinner as a token of appreciation extended to all servant-leaders and individuals who diligently served on various committees throughout the Feast.

Above all, this year’s Feast was more than a gathering: it was a celebration of faith and unity. We all expressed our deep gratitude to God for His guidance, provisions, protection and blessings, making this year’s Feast a resounding success.
