It was a remarkable Feast for 104 members who attended the Feast of Tabernacles at Naming'azi Farm, in Zomba, about one hour and 30 minutes’ drive from Blantyre City. The atmosphere was great as the brethren were looking forward to it after many months of waiting.

The spiritual food was rich with inspiring and uplifting sermons and sermonettes given by the president Rick Shabi (video sermons) and the local leadership. Services were also spiced up by some beautiful special music performed by a number of choirs. The focal point of the sermons dwelt very much on the wonderful world tomorrow, covering how life will be and how we will be qualified to enter into the Kingdom of God. The messages were very encouraging, motivating and uplifting. We also had some activities such as men’s and women’s seminars and a hygiene talk for both the youth and preteens. We also had sports and general activities such as a variety show, family day, children’s treat and so much more. A day started with aerobics, just to keep everyone fit for the Feast, participated in and organized by our youth.

The highlight of the Feast was group eating for eight days. For the first time, we managed to hire cooks who prepared meals for us. This helped relieve our women from getting involved in the preparation of meals so they could instead focus on attending services with undivided attention. This was made possible because we were all accommodated at the same place for the Feast. The accommodation offered decent and comfortable rooms. For these reasons many said it was the best Feast ever. Our profound gratitude goes to the home office for the financial support which enabled us to resume attending the Feast far away from our homes.
