Tom Robinson recently took on the role of associate editor for the Beyond Today magazine, following the retirement of Scott Ashley. Tom has worked as a senior writer and editor for the Church magazine and booklets for the past 22 years, since August 2001. He was previously the managing editor and associate editor for another Church of God organization for the seven years prior to that, beginning in 1994, so he has been nearly 30 years in this capacity.

Tom has been the primary writer and managing editor of UCG’s Bible Reading Program, now UCG Bible Commentary. He served as managing editor of our former publication, World News & Prophecy, for its last year of production.

Tom has served in the Fulton, Missouri, congregation as an elder for more than 10 years, having been ordained in 2012. He has worked for more than 10 years on the Prophecy Advisory Committee, and now serves as its chairman. Recently, he became a new visiting instructor at Ambassador Bible College, teaching Former Prophets.

Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Ambassador College in 1992, majoring in theology and double minoring in English and mass communications.

He and his wife Donna have been married for 27 years, since 1996. They have two teenage children, Annika and Micah, and live in Troy, Missouri, near St. Louis, attending services in Fulton.
