Prayer Request Update - Pakistan persecution

From David Schreiber, senior pastor, Pakistan:

We want to thank you for your urgent prayers for our brethren in Pakistan who were experiencing a terrifying ordeal as the Christians in their section of the city were threatened with mob violence.

God heard our prayers and has softened the hearts of the Muslims leaders who were in negotiations with the Christian leaders. They came to an agreement to settle the matter. This is one step toward quieting the mobs however we know that sometimes mobs can again be stirred up by an extremist.

Wednesday night our UCG members returned to their home. Thank you for your love, support and prayers.

Kashif writes:
We are very thankful to you and all the brethren and friends throughout the world who were praying for us. We are thankful to God for answering your prayers. God saved us from any evil. He saved our property. All the prospective members of UCG and all other Christians are safe here. Almost all the families have returned to their homes after the situation gets better. We are back home safely.
