When the Assyrians invade Judah and arrive at the gates of Jerusalem, King Hezekiah of Judah was faced with a seemingly impossible situation. The Assyrian field commander mocked king Hezekiah and the people of Judah for trusting God. King Hezekiah humbles himself before God in prayer to seek God deliverance. The lesson we learn from this Bible study is the power of prayer to God in what seems an impossible situation.
