This sermon discusses some of the major historical aspects of the Feast of Trumpets from the time they were revealed to Israel to the present day. The duties of the watchman and how believers should respond to the message are noted along with the relationships of events such as sealing the 144,000, the opening of the seals, the angels sounding the trumpets---the events surrounding the seventh trumpet including the resurrection and the seven vials of wrath.

Before his retirement in 2021, Dr. Donald Ward pastored churches in Texas and Louisiana, and taught at Ambassador Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has also served as chairman of the Council of Elders of the United Church of God. He holds a BS degree; a BA in theology; a MS degree; a doctor’s degree in education from East Texas State University; and has completed 18 hours of graduate theology from SMU.
