The Little Rock congregation held its popular annual fundraiser after sundown Jan. 4. Following Sabbath services the ladies served a potluck, and there was lots of fellowship. Shortly after sundown the competition to bid highest on certain items began. Auctioneer Jim Simkins entertained with his discourse as he auctioned off homemade bakery items and crafts as well as items bought on Black Friday. There were a variety of used items and even fresh eggs. The bidding was lively, and everyone had a good time. The money raised is being used to buy an updated computer for the congregation and other needed equipment. Any excess funds will be sent into UCG as an offering.
