You execute what you consider a rather graceful maneuver on your way to fill up your own cup, dodging several flailing appendages as you swoop in and then back out again with an expertly filled cup. Nice, you think to yourself. Much better than last time. You nod to your coworkers and begin the trek back to your desk.

But you only make it a few steps before one your coworkers shouts in your direction, "Hey! You go to church every weekend, don't you?"

Looks like you left the relative comfort of your chair for more than just a cup of water. "Yeah," you say as you turn around, "sure do. Why do you ask?"

"Well, we were each talking about why we go to church—what makes the trip worth it. Jimmy says the church down the street has a great live band once a month, so he makes it out for that. Barb and I only go to mass on Christmas and Easter, and Kevin doesn't have any church he likes that's close enough to him. But you go every week—and don't you have to drive some crazy distance to get there too?"

"About an hour each way," you reply.

"Yeah! Two hours, every week, just to go to church! We can't figure it out. What makes your church so great that you go back every week?"

You take a sip from your cup as you think about where to start. There are plenty of reasons, but you'll need to keep your response brief and to the point or risk losing your coworkers' attention.
