Spokane, Washington, Congregation Commemorates 50 Years
On Nov. 1, 2014, the Spokane, Washington, congregation hosted a special Sabbath gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Church of God in Spokane. Sabbath services consisted of split sermons by Jim Lichtenstein—the first resident minister to the Spokane congregation—and retired pastor Terry Swagerty. An evening social that included a sandwich and fruit bar, along with a short video presentation, created a wonderful atmosphere for fellowship.
Over 160 individuals from around the region came together to share memories, renew friendships and glorify God for His blessings over the years.
