As Jesus Christ cleansed the physical temple of God during His time because it was being used improperly and for the wrong purpose, so we as baptized Christians need to make sure our temple, the dwelling place of God's Holy Spirit, is being used properly and for the purpose that God intended. If not we need to cleanse it with the aid of Jesus Christ.
