2015 Feast of Tabernacles Report
Lake Malawi
We started the first half of the Feast at this beautiful lake shore resort with 88 people. We were not able to hold the Feast at our usual place because it was being used by an international music festival.
The number of people increased as we entered the second half of the Feast to 112. Out of 156 who applied to attend the Feast this year, only 44 failed to make it.
We were privileged to have Aaron and Michelle Dean during the first half of the Feast. Mr. Dean delivered very inspiring sermons that addressed the spiritual needs of the members. And the rest of the days were taken over by the local leaders, who also delivered inspiring sermons. Feast activities included children’s treat, variety show, youth barbecue, sports, women’s seminar and men’s marriage seminar.
The highlight of the Feast activities was a men’s marriage seminar, where there was interesting and lively participation of discussion on “five basic needs of women.” Most members commented that they have never attended a seminar of that nature before where they were told how to love and take good care of their wives.
All in all, it was a very successful Feast, and people are looking forward to next year’s Feast of Tabernacles.
