What is that part of the anatomy that gives Christians the most trouble? Solomon knew about it and had much to say in Proverbs. So did the book of James, Revelation and others in the New Testament. They speak of the unruly tongue. But Jesus revealed what the real culprit is when He said in Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." The problem really lies in our heart. So, we can only control our speech when our hearts are pure and motivated by godly thought.
