The Days of Unleavened Bread portray many things. One of the most important is the deliverance God offers through the process He set up for us.

Sermon Notes

A partial set of notes and Scriptures:

ROUTE OF DELIVERANCE
Ex. 15  the route of deliverance
Joh 17:18  As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Ours is not a path of Utopia... we do not have a Utopian community...
We are all scattered.  GOD calls and we answer, regardless of where we are.

Joh 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

When we are done with our walk in our route of life, we want the world to know that GOD loved us, and intervened and taught us a different way.  They must know that our route of deliverance is bound inextricably with Jesus WAY.

Joh 14:12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
WHY greater works? Cause when we go out in the world. . .  we can say GOD changed me, altered me, intervened and rerouted my life. My life has been blessed.... as DAVE RAMSEY: "Better than I deserve".

SONG OF DELIVERANCE
UB being a route of deliverance

Have to understand the encampments of Israel and of our lives.

Exo 14:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Exo 14:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
Exo 14:3  For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

BOOK: "IN THE BEGINNING WAS MISUNDERSTOOD" .. Author....

Exo 14:4  And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

the Purpose of encampments: STOP so God can gain the honor...

Why? ... know that I AM THE LORD.

Gen 15:13  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

400!!!!!
Gen 15:14  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Egypt's judgment day was coming... over 400 years before... HE said it.

Mat 4:1  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

40 days of encampment, preparation, meditation... Let the devil come to me.

Mat 4:2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered.
Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Joh 13:1  Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

Joh 13:27  And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

and now Jesus is waiting till Ch 18...  and HE went to the same place... habits... the known places... view of the Holy City from the East...

Joh 18:1  When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
Joh 18:2  And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
Joh 18:3  Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
STEPPING OUT FROM HIS DISCIPLES...
Joh 18:4  Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
Joh 18:5  They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
Joh 18:6  As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
Joh 18:7  Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.
Joh 18:8  Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
HE PROTECTED THEM as He Protects us. It was HIS encampment...

Exo 14:10  And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
Exo 14:11  And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
Exo 14:12  Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

DUNAMIS, the ability to love, to choose to abandon Egypt and live under HIS TENT of deliverance,  more and more attuned to God's deliverance.

Exo 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.

IT IS OK to be afraid, but WE ARE NOT GOING BACK. DON'T be afraid. THERE is deliverance in the wings of the wind.
Do we EMBRACE THE POWER OF GOD'S DELIVERANCE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST?

Exo 14:14  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
When we are encamped we can "stand still and see the Salvation of The Lord"...
Exo 14:18  And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
Luk 22:42  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

THE PURPOSE OF GOD STATED:

Joh 17:1  These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

When you are in encampments... there is one coming that is pretty dire...

2Pe 3:3  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last day's scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
LET us remember the world DOES NOT KNOW THE WAY OF OR TO PEACE
2Pe 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

When GOD delays at the encampment he is preparing for the deliverance HE will operate.

Egypt had been around for 700 years when GOD said to Abraham that judgment was coming...

Exo 15:1  Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
Exo 15:2  The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Jer 23:3  And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

EGYPT was just a symbol of the power in Satan's world...

We are that group of believers where we realized "this ain't workin' " ...
GOD called us and we listened and our sins were cleansed.  IF our conscience is not cleansed, ASK GOD for the saving, purifying power of HIS Son's blood to wash you THOROUGHLY.

Exo 15:3  The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
Exo 15:4  Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
Exo 15:5  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
Exo 15:4  Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
Exo 15:5  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
Exo 15:6  Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
Exo 15:7  And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
Exo 15:8  And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

tHE SYMBOLISM is not lost on us... SIN has been pushed all the way down and covered by the sea...
Exo 15:9  The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
Exo 15:10  Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Exo 15:11  Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Exo 15:12  Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
Exo 15:13  Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
Exo 15:14  The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

WE WERE Purchased... by the BLOOD of HIS SON... Only the best would do to deliver us from SIN.
ISA 66:18

WHERE are we in 2015???
To the Younger... 82 years since revealing of the message... 63 years since FIRST FEAST in Belknap Springs...

Without the Holy Days and special sabbaths... we would not know... the destiny, the unparalleled future HE PLANNED for us...

Want to know what deliverance does for people?  A life of deliverance is what we look like... our lives exemplify deliverance. It is ours for the making if we trust GOD.  It begins on the inside... NTBMO...

As a group of recovering sinners, we are here to tell you young people that we know the way of deliverance... and it starts INSIDE when YOU allow GOD in.

We are about redemption on the INSIDE. Do NOT go back to EGYPT. Stay with us and let GOD redeem you from the inside out.

Ex 15 is quoted in Rev. 15
Rev 15:3  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Rev 15:4  Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

This world truly needs OUR GREAT GOD's True Deliverance.

"He is known to them in the breaking of bread."
Luk 24:13  And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
Luk 24:12  Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

Day after Jesus had risen...
Luk 24:14  And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
Luk 24:15  And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
Luk 24:16  But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
Luk 24:17  And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
Cleopas recounts the story amazed HE did not know?

Luk 24:25  Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
Luk 24:26  Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
Luk 24:27  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luk 24:28  And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
Luk 24:29  But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
Luk 24:30  And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
Luk 24:31  And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

During these days Christ chooses to make Himself known to us via the Unleavened Bread... of sincerity and TRUTH.
He is known to them in the breaking of bread.

WE have to go BEYOND FAITH in the breaking of bread and understanding of Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
2Pe 1:3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Incredible set of Promises...
2Pe 1:5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

2Pe 1:6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

WE have to go BEYOND LISTENING ATTENTIVELY IN CHURCH!
It is great to do it... but we still have to go beyond.
Jas 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jas 1:23  For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Jas 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Jas 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Luk 24:32  And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
Luk 24:33  And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
Luk 24:34  Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
Luk 24:35  And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

HOPEFULLY, we will KNOW Jesus in the breaking of bread and our relationship, via APPLICATION of His teachings, will become part of us deeply and unavoidably.
