For those of us here today, we came to the point of recognizing our need for a Savior through acknowledgement our sins and the need for baptism. As a new creation we began a journey to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord." All of this is pictured during the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread. Then God desires to give us a "helper" in our journey of overcoming and growth. It is a free gift from God called the Holy Spirit. This is pictured on the day of Pentecost. In summation... the "elect" of God are being prepared now to personally serve during the remainder of God's plan for humanity. Today, let's see how and why God desires this...
