The unique event that brings universal atonement is the removal of Satan from the presence of mankind. God has unfinished business with that ancient Archangel who rebelled against him, and fervently seeks to destroy His children. This Holy Day looks forward to the time when God’s judgment on this spiritual being is fulfilled. Brethren this world is entombed to sin and death. Only the presence of Jesus Christ can offer it freedom and life. Only the Son of God can resurrect the hopes and dreams of a lost humanity. The hope God offers is in the meaning of this Holyday. Jesus the Savor reigns! But unfortunately, so does the “great deceiver” on this earth during this age. The day will come when both the “cause” and “effect” of sin will be removed.
