×Nestled amid gently rolling peaks, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg serve as the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can relax in a peaceful, safe environment of natural splendor. The Feast occurs at the most beautiful time of year in the Smokies, a time of vibrant reds and golds of the fall season. It is a top vacation and honeymoon spot in the United States. The average temperature in Sevierville for October are highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s.
The Wilderness at the Smokies Resort, which is adjacent to the convention center, will house nearly all members attending Sevierville this year. This includes motel rooms, efficiencies, and one to three room condominiums. It has the largest indoor water park in Tennessee. Housing rates include unlimited admission to the water park. Additionally there is the Wilderness Adventure Forest, which includes a three-story ropes course, laser tag and a mega arcade. Also there is a golf course and fitness center. You can check out this facility at www.wildernessatthesmokies.com. Everyone staying at the Wilderness at the Smokies can either walk to services or have a free shuttle drop them off.
Sevierville/Pigeon Forge provides a unique range of dining and entertainment, arts, shopping and unusual attractions. There are more than 100 restaurants where you can enjoy anything from a pizza to a perfectly done steak, or even the latest in regional cuisine. After dinner you can choose live music or theater, dinner shows or dancing. Just a short drive away in Gatlinburg, you can watch artists and artisans at their easels and pottery wheels throughout the vibrant crafts community either in the galleries downtown or on the eight-mile-long crafts loop that begins just outside town. There are many activities in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge for the whole family: family shows, miniature golf courses and go-kart tracks.
A large part of what makes Sevierville such a great meeting place is the great outdoors. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park sits at your doorstep, offering 800 square miles of spectacular flora, fauna and outdoor activity. There are more than 900 miles of hiking trails so you can explore forests, waterfalls and stunning mountain vistas.
This year we are planning a family day that will have activities for everyone: an evening at Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show, a family dance, and a possible activity at Ripley’s Aquarium.
Come join us for a magnificent spiritual and physical Feast. You are sure to enjoy this beautiful part of the United States.
