To kick off the weekend there will be a Friday 7 p.m. Bible study followed by a dessert social at the home office.

All the Sabbath and Saturday evening activities will take place at the Holi­day Inn Eastgate, 4501 Eastgate Blvd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45245. There will be one Sabbath service at 2:30 p.m. After services you won’t need to rush out to find a meal, as we will have the opportunity to be served a two-entree catered meal for $20 per person. Then, following the meal will be the family dance at 7:30 p.m. The dance is free to those who pay for the meal. Cost for those who come to the dance but do not purchase a meal is only $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.

Dress for the evening is dressy Sabbath to semi-formal/formal. A cash bar will be available to anyone 21 years of age and over.

On Sunday morning Feb. 12 at 10 a.m., we will have our snow tubing/ski/snowboard activity. We are planning a snow tub­ing/ski/snowboard activity at Perfect North Slopes, weather permitting. Last year we had a group of 52 in attendance and are planning for another large turnout this year.

For those who want to tube, the cost is $20 for a two-hour tubing ticket and $25 for a three-hour tubing ticket. And yes, there is a “magic carpet” that carries you to the top of the hill.

For those who are more adventurous and would like to ski or snowboard, the cost for an eight-hour lift ticket is $39 and includes an introductory lesson if needed. Snow tubing is also in­cluded as part of the eight-hour lift ticket. Ski/snowboard rental is $17, and you can switch back and forth between the two if desired. Helmet rental is $5 and is strongly recommended for those who are snowboarding.
