Occasionally church members are summoned to serve for Jury Duty. In the past, members would ask the pastor for a letter as an excuse from serving. This is no longer done. There is a new process you should follow when you receive a Jury Summons. An information packet is available to members of the church to help them if they are called to serve. This packet includes the Doctrinal statement of the Church regarding Jury Duty as well as letters and processes from the churches legal counsel, Larry Darden.
