Dorm Life and Spiritual Emphasis

United Youth Camps are more than just activities. Camp is centered on the Bible and focused on strengthening our relationship with God for campers who are trying to live God’s way all year long. Campers will be assigned a dorm based on their age. This provides them a great opportunity to build positive and lasting relationships with other campers their age who are also striving to follow God.

Travel

Transportation will be provided to/from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM).

Activities

Although it’s possible a few activities may change, the following activities are planned: archery, basketball, Christian living classes, dance class, high ropes, riflery, sand volleyball, softball, speedaway, swimming and water sliding, team challenge and ultimate Frisbee.

We would appreciate your prayers for God’s blessing on our efforts to build a safe, Christian zone that provides a foretaste of God’s Kingdom. Participants can expect a well-structured and safe program that provides challenging activities and the opportunity to make lifelong friendships. Details

Dates: July 23-30, 2017. Staff should plan to be in the Gadsden, Alabama, area for Sabbath services, July 22, at 2:30 p.m. CDT. Campers should plan their arrival between 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, and departure by 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 30.
Camper age range: 12-18
Staff minimum age: 18 (high school graduate)
Camper tuition: $260 if paid by June 12, 2017; $290 after June 12 ($30 late fee)
Staff fee: No charge
