Since almost everyone stayed at the Mountain Laurel Resort, this provided a relaxed environment with plenty of time for fellowship before and after services.

God blessed the site with better than anticipated weather for the entire Feast. The daytime high temperatures reached almost 80 degrees, with daily average high temperatures around 75 degrees. The warm weather provided many opportunities to visit the scenic parks, including the boulder field at Hickory Run State Park and also the town of Jim Thorpe.

The messages were inspirational and thought-provoking, describing our need to be prepared to serve with Jesus Christ and also the importance of ruling in love as we work to restore the relationship between man and God.

There was a wide variety of inspiring special music this year delivered by a choir of only 26 people, who sang with the voice of 1,000! They were accompanied by our pianists and music ensemble. We also had several smaller solo or quartet pieces.

The singles and young adults were extremely active from the very start of the Feast, organizing opportunities for fun and fellowship while playing mini golf, biking, kayaking, as well as sightseeing.

The Feast ended with the same amount of enthusiasm for God with which it began!
