We must spend time with God in order to have a relationship with Him. In prayer, we need to be seeking God's will rather than merely presenting Him with a wishlist. We need to pray for others in addition to ourselves, and yearn for a relationship with God. The Bible has several prayers offered up by faithful men of God that we can study for examples of how we should pray.

Paul serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Spokane, Kennewick and Kettle Falls, Washington, and Lewiston, Idaho.    

Paul grew up in the Church of God from a young age. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1991-93. He and his wife, Darla, were married in 1994 and have two children, all residing in Spokane.
