With the social media being a product of our modern computer age you might think that everything done on it is also new. But a new form of an old habit is commonly seen in social media. This practice is called virtue signaling where people express opinions about how our society should function in different areas. The problem is these people often do not themselves do the things they suggest others should be doing. In this sermon UCG local elder Mark Sappington shows that this is not a new problem, but is seen clearly in the lives of the pharisees at the time of Jesus. As Jesus pointed out they were quick to tell everyone else how to live, but they themselves did not do the things they said. Mark goes on to show that as Christians we can not allow this practice to enter our lives.
